Bananas from the garden

I ate fresh bananas plucked directly from the garden of my host during my stay. We stayed in the separate cottage apartment situated behind the main housewith a full kitchen for my meals. I walked to The Fish Fry to eat authentic Bahamian food while I toured the island.

Driving a Toyota Prius around Nassau

Snorkeling on the secluded private beach

I snorkeled in the water directly off the private beach to see the wildlife. My apartment faced the waves and I spent time sitting on the patio, where a palm tree stood as a focal point. Sanchia met us for the key handover and stayed within the complex to assist with any shuttle service requests throughout my stay.

Private car pickup from the airport

Anna arranged my cab pickup from the airport for a lower price than the standard rate. I stayed in this large house while visiting family living out West. The location remained quiet throughout my five nights in Nassau.

Late barbecue at the patio bar

I ate barbecue at the private bar Micah added to the back patio area, where a dart board sat for guest use at night. Micah drove me to the airport in the free shuttle after I finished my meal. The studio I occupied featured a kitchenette with a kitchen table, which I used for dining before my early flight.

Private pool access for guests

I swam in the pool which remained accessible to Rosewood guests only. Staying here allowed me to reach the wide beach and enjoy the turquoise water of the ocean. Each morning started with breakfast at the library, where the hostesses served fresh pastries and coffee. My 3-bedroom villa included a private jacuzzi and was located near the beach.

I watched a movie in the private cinema located on the hotel after spending the morning at the gym. A private car chauffeured me to the beach club for the afternoonwith a secluded setting away from the bustle of the town. My cottage patio held a table and seating for four where I ate breakfast from the Yellowbell menu.

I used the separate hot tubs located at both swimming pools during my stay. Each villa had a full kitchen with a washer and dryer, and I grilled dinner at the shared barbecue area. I also visited the air-conditioned gym which held modern equipment.

Boats in the marina from the deck

I borrowed snorkels, masks and fins from the host to explore the beach. The pool sat right in front of my cottage, while the grounds and green garden offered a serene spot for me to relax. I found snacks, water and beverages in my fridge during my stay.
